Together, we rise
Stonewall Sports is a community-rooted in belonging, intersectionality, and care. We celebrate LGBTQIA+ people in all our diversity, uplift those most marginalized, and lead with transparency, accountability, and integrity. Through sport, advocacy, and truth-telling, we confront oppression, challenge injustice, and create joyful pathways to personal and collective liberation.
Belonging
We believe everyone deserves a place to thrive. We intentionally create safe spaces where LGBTQIA+ people across all identities are seen, welcomed, and celebrated. We honor the voices, stories, and brilliance of LGBTQIA+ people, especially Black and Brown queer and trans people. We celebrate our culture, our resilience, and each other.
Intersectionality
We recognize that our experiences are shaped by overlapping identities, including race, gender, sexuality, ability, class, and others. We uplift those most often marginalized and ensure our leadership and programming reflect and serve the full spectrum of our community.
Commitment to Action
We commit ourselves to showing up and speaking out. We choose growth over comfort and hold ourselves and each other accountable in that pursuit. We recognize that the power of advocacy, coupled with the power of community, compels us to maintain a philanthropic mindset that magnifies the impact of lifting others.
Liberation Through Sport
We use the power of play to challenge injustice. Our league is a joyful act of resistance against systems of exclusion, and a vehicle for personal and collective freedom.
Community Care
We believe care is radical. Through empathy, mutual support, and shared responsibility, we foster a culture where people can show up as who they are in the process of becoming, whether whole, healed, or anywhere in between. In this, we honor the humanity and experiences of every participant.
Anti-Oppression
We intentionally confront white supremacy, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia and other forms of harm—on the field, in our policies, and in our leadership. We listen when we cause harm and commit to repair.
Advocacy and Truth-Telling
We advocate for justice through education, honest dialogue, and bold action, recognizing the importance of reflexivity as a means to creating more inclusive environments. Whether challenging inequity in our systems or amplifying voices from the margins, we commit to using our platform to speak truth, disrupt harm, and advance collective liberation, both on and off the field.
Trust and Transparency
We build trust through transparency, accountability, and follow-through. We communicate openly, invite feedback, and honor commitments to foster an environment where people feel safe and supported.

We lead with honesty and consistency. Our values guide our decisions, and we show up with integrity on the field, in leadership, or within our communities.
