10th Annual National Tournament & Summit Player Assistance Fund

Stonewall Sports is committed to reducing barriers to entry for players to participate in the 10th Annual National Tournament & Summit, July 18-21, 2024, in the Twin Cities.

In the spirit of equity and inclusivity, we are again offering the Player Assistance Fund, which provides registration fee waivers or reduced registration rates for players who are experiencing financial and economic hardship.

Who is eligible to apply?

Players who are interested in registering for a sport during the 10th Annual National Tournament & Summit are eligible to apply. You are not eligible if you are only interested in registering for an events pass.

When can I apply?

The Player Assistance Fund application is open Monday, April 15, through Monday, May 6.

Please note: The Player Assistance Fund application will close before registration ends on Monday, May 13. This is to provide our committee members with enough time to review applications and notify applicants of next steps before registration closes.

What is the fee waiver or reduced rate?

Applicants can request a 50% discount or 100% waiver for sports registration fees.

(Applicants who receive a 50% discount are required to pay the remaining balance; as such, applicants are encouraged to apply before Monday, April 29, when the early registration rate ends and fees increase. If you apply on or after April 29, you will pay the remaining balance of the regular registration rate, which will be a higher amount.)

Is other financial assistance available for travel or accommodations?

Some chapters may have financial assistance available for travel or accommodations. Chapters may hold local fundraisers or may help coordinate travel and accommodations among chapter members. Please reach out to your local chapter’s commissioner to ask if other assistance is available or to explore hosting a fundraising event in your city.

Where do I apply?

You can apply through the form on this page. If the form is closed or you encounter an issue with the form, please contact tournament@stonewallsports.org. We may process applications after the deadline on a case-by-case basis. We cannot process applications after registration ends.

Is my information private?

Yes, the information provided in your application will only be seen by select members of the Stonewall Sports national tournament committee, who will review your application for eligibility. We will not request employment or financial documents at any point in this process. However, our goal is to meet as many needs as possible. As such, we assume good faith and expect applicants to uphold the honor system when submitting the application.
