Dodgeball Classic

Registration

  • Capacity: 64 teams
  • What’s included: T-shirt, access to all social events
  • Captain registration opens: Monday, April 15
  • Player registration opens: Thursday, April 18
    • Fee increases from $85 (Early Bird) to $95 (Normal) on Monday, April 29. 
  • Team status deadline (minimum number of players must be registered): Monday, May 13.
  • Registration closes: Friday, May 17.
  • Team composition: Eight players (registered and paid) to 12 players. At least two players must be women. 

Tournament Schedule

  • Day 1 (Saturday, July 20): 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; round robin play and double elimination tournament.
  • Day 2 (Sunday, July 21): 9 a.m. (tentative based on numbers) to 3:30 p.m.; double elimination tournament.

Tournament Format 

  • Teams, double elimination
  • Minimum number of games: Six round robin games guaranteed, plus the double elimination tournament.
  • Start-of-game requirements: Eight players, two of whom must be women and on the court.
  • Round robin: Teams are divided evenly into pools.
  • Double elimination tournament: Two brackets based on results of day 1 round robin play - upper and lower halves of the standings.

Captains: If you attempt to register and your sport has hit team capacity, please contact the sport managers listed below and ask to be added to a waitlist. In the event registered teams do not meet team status, they may consolidate or forfeit their spot in the tournament, and sport managers will reach out to those on the waitlist to ask if they're still interested in and able to field a team.

Captains will be expected to be the primary points of contact for their players. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the managers for your individual sports. Player conduct and game integrity is a core component of providing a positive experience for all. Tournament leadership will have the express right to remove or ban a player without refund for violations of our player conduct policy.
